Speaker:
Shabs Rajasekharan, Project Coordinator
Center for Research in Healthcare Innovation Management (CRHIM) | IESE Barcelona, Spain
This interactive webinar explores what it takes for scientific discoveries to be used in practice. Strong science is essential, but many projects slow down because key practical questions are addressed too late.
The session will look at the path from research to real-world use — who decides on adoption, what evidence is required, and how regulatory and system needs shape project design.
Topics include:
• If the science works, what else must be true for it to be used ?
• Who decides whether something is adopted or funded ?
• What evidence do decision-makers need ?
• Where do research projects lose momentum ?
• How can projects be designed earlier for real-world uptake ?
