The new European Bauhaus is gaining momentum: Czech finalist, new EIT calls and opportunities in Horizon Europe

The New European Bauhaus (NEB) initiative has recently significantly intensified its activities. The European Commission and its partners are developing a comprehensive ecosystem of support – from awarding inspiring projects to developing skills to large-scale research and innovation programmes. The latest developments include the announcement of the NEB Prize finalists (including a Czech project) and new calls within the EIT Culture & Creativity and Horizon Europe programmes. Read more

The South Moravian Region strengthens ties with Estonia in the field of cybersecurity

The strategic partnership between Masaryk University Brno and the University of Tartu builds on the successful cooperation developed within the European CHESS project and other related initiatives. The agreement confirms the long-term contribution of international research projects to the development of excellence in cybersecurity, education and innovation and contributes to strengthening the international competitiveness of the Czech Republic and the South Moravian Region in line with the priorities of the National Strategy RIS3. Czech-Saxon cooperation in innovation: programs and key actors

On May 20, 2026, the SemiconDays programme continued at the premises of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The event Czech-Saxon Partnership for Innovation: Funding Opportunities for Academia and Industry, aimed at supporting Czech-Saxon cooperation in research, development and innovation, The matchmaking meeting connected representatives of companies and research organizations with the aim of strengthening the creation of joint projects and increasing the use of available financial instruments.
