The European Commission has officially announced the launch of the sixth edition of the New European Bauhaus Prizes (NEB Prizes) and the second edition of the NEB Boost for Small Municipalities programme. This year's edition brings significant innovations that further strengthen the focus on sustainability, inclusion and aesthetic value in the transformation of European communities, cities and rural areas. The calls are open to all innovators, young talents, communities and municipalities who want to implement projects in line with the values of the New European Bauhaus. The deadline for applications is 17 March 2026 at 19:00 CET.

Prague, February 4, 2026 – The results of the three-year project System Support for the Implementation and Management of the National RIS3 Strategy 2023+ were presented at the final conference at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. The project, funded by the OP JAC, brought a number of analytical, methodological and data outputs that strengthen the ability of the Czech Republic to effectively manage and coordinate its innovation policy at the national and regional levels.

7th annual public administration hackathon final #hackujstát

The winners of the regional rounds advance to the national finals of the public administration hackathon #hackujstát, where they can complete existing projects or start new ones. The condition is the use of at least one dataset from the National Catalogue of Open Data or data from partner institutions and the publication of the results, including source code, license and documentation. The seventh year of the #hackujstát event will take place on March 6 and 7, 2026 at the headquarters of the Supreme Audit Office in Prague.
